Family Sunday – The Sun Can Do So Much!

Family Sunday with Workshop at the IKOB – Museum of Contemporary Art on
6 May 2018 – 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm

In the current exhibition JE SUIS ATOLL featuring the artist Jürgen Claus, everything revolves around the forces of nature. The sun and water are the elementary areas of research that he has worked on for many years.

Children know that photovoltaic cells can be used to operate pocket calculators, drive cars and heat houses. The sun is considered to be a perfect power plant that has been functioning reliably for more than four billion years. And it is always available to us as a source of energy.
In the framework of the Family Sunday with Workshop, children become acquainted with solar power in a playful manner and learn how it can be used for creating an individual work of art.

Open to all from the age of 6

Costs: 15 euros per family with one child, each further child 7 euros
