This work has evolved over the years. Since 1999 Loek Grootjans has created 11 parts of this department for various exhibitions. He has asked himself 1142 questions about being an artist. If he could answer all the questions he asks himself in this regard, he would achieve the absolute knowledge of being an artist. But every question raises again new questions, so consequently never all questions can be answered. And yet each new question brings one further again. The works were part of the group exhibition ANGEBOT UND NACHFRAGE, which took place in 2009 at the IKOB.
